St. Veronica School will expand each student's God-given gifts through Catholic-centered academic excellence. We are devoted to developing the whole person, instilling a lifelong passion for discovery, for leadership and servitude.
Our school exists as part of the mission of the St. Veronica Parish to help parents pass on to their children the Catholic way of life. We strongly believe in the total development of the child - spiritually, academically, physically, and socially. St. Veronica School is committed to providing children with a caring, loving, environment where they will grow in faith and in knowledge. We acknowledge, with grateful appreciation, the contributions of our parishioners for without their total support and constant prayers, our school would not be possible.
St. Veronica Catholic School is a community of faithful believers that partners with parents/guardians, who we consider the first teachers of the faith. We share the common purpose of making students understand their call to learn, live, teach, and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to each other and the world. St. Veronica Catholic School believes in a collaborative Christian approach to education that involves all aspects of the student as a Child of God; spiritual, intellectual, moral, and social.
We believe the purpose of a Catholic Education is to work as partners with parents/guardians to teach the Catholic faith and develop the whole child in order to live a life that glorifies God.
We believe, through rigorous and relevant curriculum and differentiated instruction, students will grow in their faith and reach their fullest spiritual, academic, moral and social potential.
We believe, as a community of Christ, we are called to a life of service; giving of our time, talents, and material goods.
We believe, that faith formation is a continuous journey taking place within a loving, positive atmosphere at school, home, and church and that all members of the faith community can be teachers as well as receivers of the faith.
As Catholics, we firmly believe that each of us is a unique individual made in the image and likeness of God. It is our firm belief that St. Veronica School through its philosophy of education can contribute much to help each student not only to attain his/her final goal of union with God, but also aid him/her in becoming the person that God intended him/her to be on earth. As a result, St. Veronica School believes in the Christian approach to education which takes into consideration all facets of the individual-spiritual, physical, mental, moral, and social. By this approach, St. Veronica School attempts to develop each student's full potential and, in turn, help the student form a positive self image. Christian education also attempts to form the human person in relationship with the other members of society. Through the teaching of Gospel values, St. Veronica School prepares the students to function as responsible stewards of God.
The curriculum which embraces a variety of religious and secular subjects is intended to develop responsible, decision-making individuals. St. Veronica School seeks to offer a broad based educational curriculum, striving to meet a standard of excellence in every subject, discipline, and opportunity presented to its students. The preparation of each student for the maximum benefit from his/her future educational experiences is a constant goal of faculty and staff.
The purpose of the Catholic school is to share in the three-fold mission of the church: to teach, to govern, and to sanctify. St. Veronica School strives to be an effective vehicle to accomplish this mission. Catholic doctrine is to be taught and witnessed through the lives of the faculty and staff, in order to create an atmosphere that fosters Christian values and is expressed through our community worship.
