The Ministry of Lectors purpose is to competently and effectively proclaim the Word of God to the St. Veronica Parish Community at Sunday and Holy day Masses.
The Lector Ministry is one of great service for those people who love and study the Scriptures. It requires careful and prayerful preparation. Lectors assume the responsibility of clearly and effectively proclaiming the Word of God in the Scripture readings assigned to them. Workbooks are provided that assist in this study and preparation.
The lector ministry is open to anyone who has been confirmed, is of high school age or older, has good oral presentation skills, and is willing to invest the time needed for study and preparation. -
