St. Veronica follows the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Technology Standards to provide a program that promotes growth in computer skills while emphasizing ethical and moral use of technology.
St. Veronica students in grades K-8 increase their knowledge and develop their computer skills. Our goal is to help students gain the skills necessary to be more productive in their communication, research and thinking skills. Keyboarding, word processing, and Internet skills are introduced and developed. In addition students in various grades learn skills that enhance their classroom objectives. These skills include critical thinking, logical thinking, math, reading, science, social studies, and creative writing development. As students progress they also develop skills in the Google Workspace Education programs such as Sheets, Slides, and Docs. Another key component of the curriculum is Internet Safety and ethical use of technology.
Technology is also integrated into each classroom. Every classroom has an interactive board, document camera, and Chromebooks. St. Veronica School has subscriptions to Accelerated Reader and i-Ready. The school also has a subscription to Discovery Education, offering our teachers easy access to 80,000 curricular resources including educational videos, interactive teaching tools, and more.
